I sometimes think, as I watch the moon rise at night, that its constancy is something that connects us. Every person on earth, regardless of where they live or what they believe, watches this same moon rise every single night. It is something we share and something that inspires awe in each of us. There is peace in this for me, this coming together around our moon... this shared awe.
